Exinda and Smart Axess to Partner the 2012 Retail Technology Forum
Following the success of the 2011 Retail Technology Forum, two leading retail technology specialists, Exinda and Smart Axess, have signed up as Silver Partners to the 2012 event.
New to the event is Exinda who will be showcasing their solution to controlling and optimising a retail network. The acceleration of store numbers in Africa over the past few years has created a major headache for IT teams: how to manage the rollout of new applications and services to a rapidly growing retail network? Exinda’s solution – Unified Performance Management (UPM) – addresses the three key requirements of application performance management: visibility, control and optimisation.
Silver Partner for the second year running is Smart Axess Solutions. As a market leading end-to-end virtualisation company, Smart Axess aims to provide retailers with the means by which they can gain operational and capital cost reduction benefits, improved data security and compliance, reduced operational risk and improved business agility. Managing Director, Alex Russell says, “We found the 2011 forum an empowering platform for us to present our range of Smart Axess solutions to quality delegates. We see great value in this event and we are excited to once again taking on this prestigious role.”
Gold Partner Argility is no stranger to forum’s effectiveness: says Eric Van Heerden “Getting to see this many retailers in such a short space of time is a great opportunity to strengthen existing and forge new relationships in the industry.”
The Retail Technology Forum takes place at the Arabella Hotel and Spa, Western Cape from 29th - 30th October 2012. The 1½ event opens with a conference followed by a program of pre-arranged one-to-one meetings between the cream of Africa’s retailers and international technology and solution providers.
A great opportunity to meet various suppliers: the short meeting sessions worked very well and the informal breaks allowed for opportunities to continue discussions.
