New Peaks for PetroForum Singapore
Featuring case studies from international suppliers to the petroleum industry, and rounding up with a highly motivating account of conquering Everest, the line-up for the conference at PetroForum Singapore promises to draw on a wealth of experience, and set the scene for two-and-a-half days of networking and knowledge-sharing.
Opening the conference will be Nic Moulis, General Manager of ACAPMA (Australasian Convenience and Petroleum Marketers Association). His presentation will look at Australia from the downstream perspective, taking in the wholesale and retail markets, alternative fuels, government policy, and a view of the future for Australia.
Next to speak will be Remko Delfgaauw, CEO of Netherlands-based Bever Innovations, the Gold sponsors for the event. Remko will deftly guide delegates through the LED revolution. With the prolific number of LED suppliers to choose from, and LEDs becoming increasingly sophisticated, a clear guide as to which questions to ask and how to find the answers should be a welcome presentation for anyone involved in lighting up their retail network.
Following Remko will be Ray Spano, Director of International Development for ARTELIA (formerly COTEBA). Ray will present his case study on service station value engineering covering how he identified areas of opportunity, improved profitability, reduced energy costs, and delivered savings of more than $400K.
Huang Gaofeng of China Hongyang Group, will take a look at a complete smart solution for service stations, with applications including real-time monitoring, non-cash payment methods and partial or general analysis for multiple lines.
And Casey Zandbergen of FuelQuest will show how downstream retail marketers were able to reduce annual costs by over US$2m providing delegates with some practical solutions on how to reduce retains and run-outs.
To round up, keynote presenter David Lim will enthral us wiht his lessons from Everest. A Singapore local, David is best known for leading the first Singapore Everest expedition in 1998. David will share not only a story of overcoming the odds, but also how anyone can apply practical steps to achieve their goals. David promises to end the conference on a truly motivating high.
