Leading Oil Companies converge on Singapore for PetroForum 2012
PetroForum Singapore is growing at a tremendous rate. With the top oil companies signed up, and 70% of the supplier places already filled, the Forum is set to be a truly productive event. Taking place in Singapore from the 6th – 8th March, the Forum combines a one-to-one meetings program with conference and informal networking.
With over 15,000 sites between them, the attending oil companies and fuel retailers represent the best in their respective countries. An event that runs every two years, PetroForum provides the perfect opportunity for oil companies from across Asia and The Middle East to see new products on the market, make new contacts and research areas for investment.
In the words of the Director of Technology at Petrolimex, Vietnam, Mr Ngo Toan: “After the KL PetroForum, we were able to work with a supplier to trial some solutions at one of our forecourts and purchase products from other companies. PetroForum remains on the calendar as the best strategic choice for Petrolimex.” Oil companies who are looking out for investment opportunities for their new sites are also attracted to the Forum. SEAOIL is one such company – they opened their 200th store earlier this year – and CEO, Glenn Yu, who will be attending the Forum said, “SEAOIL will be adding more stations in Visayas and Mindanao, with 30 stations next year, further enhancing the reach of our products and services nationwide, so we’re looking forward to making some good business connections to support that growth.”
Other companies investing their time at the 2012 PetroForum include ADNOC, Aldrees, SASCO, Oman Oil, SKM, Naft, Shell, BH Petrol, PTT Retail Management, Pertamina, Gulf Jordon, Reliance, TOTAL Egypt, EPPCO, Idemitsu, Chevron, Flying V, 7 Eleven, Central Queensland Petroleum, Endeavour Petroleum, Fuel Distributors of WA, Great Southern Fuels, Inland, John H Jones, Pacific Petroleum, Tas’helat and Petronas.
PetroForum Singapore also attracts the most innovative vendors in the industry, with Bever Innovations taking on the Gold partnership, and Tokheim and Leighton O’Brien the Silver partnerships. Remko Delfgaauw, CEO at Bever Innovations says “No telcon beats a face-to-face encounter, especially when it’s held in a supportive environment like PetroForum. It’s not just the optimal setting to talk business, listen to our customers and introduce new innovations, but we also strongly believe it is the best way to connect further to our customers and deepen our relationships.”
This year will see some new companies joining the Forum, including CV Retail, Hongyang Group, Lighting Science Group, Dixon Valve, Orpak and RedPrairie. Other vendors include Coteba, ELAFLEX, FAFNIR, Fairbanks Environmental, Gilbarco Veeder-Root, Hectronic, Heil, LAFON, Lomosoft, Mepsan, Nupigeco, Philips Lighting, PWM, Ruud Lighting, Scheidt & Bachmann, SGB, SloanLED, Subway, WashTec, Wayne, Wincor Nixdorf to name a few.
