Announcing the 2012 Fuel Distribution Forum

Open Room Events are pleased to announce that the 2012 Fuel Distribution Forum will be returning to the Tivoli Victoria Hotel in the Algarve on 20-21 June.

With the dealer and distributor sectors in a state of flux, the event is perfectly placed to provide a platform from which to discuss the changing shape of the distribution sector and to forge a way forward.  “I was initially a sceptic but I derived great benefit from the format”, said Kevin Kennerley at NWF Fuels who attended the 2011 Forum.

Leading distributors across the UK and Ireland are to be invited alongside the best suppliers in the industry for a day-and-a-half of unparalleled networking opportunities, which will include a topical opening session as well as OpenRoom’s unique speed meeting formula which is individually tailored to each participant’s preferences.

Fuel Oil News has stepped forward as the event’s media partner for a second year running, providing a sound insight into the market and some healthy exposure to get a wide range of suppliers and distributors on board.

The enthusiasm of delegates after this year’s Forum has paved the way for a date that should become a permanent feature in the industry’s calendar, a sentiment echoed by  John Reynolds at Cookson & Zinn: “There was a real buzz surrounding the event, and from a ‘forum virgin's’ viewpoint, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing.
