Asia’s Finest Retailers sign up for C-Store Forum Asia
C-Store Forum Asia, the latest event in the OpenRoom portfolio, has gathered interest from some of the finest convenience retailing groups across Asia. Spanning 14 countries and clocking up over 30,000 sites between them, this impressive line up is set to make C-Store Forum Asia a prominent event in the convenience retail market.
Included in the line up is Narendra Baheti, Managing Director of Future Group, whose KB Fairprice stores are fast expanding across India. The Group has just announced plans to expand the chain from its stronghold of Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, mapping out a further 900 stores in the network. Also gearing up for expansion – and following in the footsteps of fellow delegate, Petronas – is Thai oil giant, PTT RM, who is developing their shop brand Jiffy into a standalone C-Store.
Another retail group at the forum is Japan’s Ministop which has spread to over 4,000 outlets across Japan, South Korea, Philippines and China. There will be opportunities to meet representatives from the Japanese head office and MiniStop Korea.
The two days will host over 360 pre -scheduled meetings and 30 hours of networking time, giving a chance for everyone to meet everyone. Says Markus Ehrich, International Sales Director of Bäro Lighting – one of the suppliers already signed up for the forum: “At the Dubai C-Store Forum I got face-to-face time with top decision makers who hadn’t answered my calls or e-mails in 2 years…”

Great meetings with solid buyers who were ready to talk business. It’s truly the best event for meeting multiple prospects from a huge market in the most efficient and pleasant way possible
