About Us

Formerly known as Downstream Events, the company was renamed Open Room in early 2009.  We hope the new name better reflects the core of our business: creating environments most conducive to effective networking.

The company is based in London, UK and was founded in 2004 by Emma Faure and Fiona Horan.

The Open Room team has worked in the events industry for over twenty years and has a wealth of experience in managing events both here in the UK, and overseas.
